Happy 3rd Birthday Max!!

Yesterday we celebrated Max's 3rd Birthday with our family. At 11:02am, he officially turned 3 years old! We started off the day with waffles and lots of syrup for breakfast, Max's favorite! Then he openned some presents from me & Brad. He's not really big on openning gifts yet, or really getting excited about what's inside. He loved all of the presents he got from all of his friends but he doesn't get as excited as some of his friends and cousins about the openning process!

Here is a group of pictures of him openning his birthday presents in our living room after breakfast.

He loves cars from the Cars movie. He got a Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a Chick Hicks. He also got his very own lawn mower, except his blows bubbles. Now he says he's just like Daddy!

Becky came over for dinner and we cooked out on the grill, but first we openned birthday presents from Becky! Max loves all things bubbles and Becky brought him a red truck that blow bubbles when you fill it up and push it around. She also got him the most awesome pair of swim trunks ever, the are so cute! He'll be stylin when we hit the beach in a couple of weeks!

After dinner, we headed down to Grammy & Pap's house for our big family party. Max started off the teeball game and they quickly got a game under way. Then he had fun visiting with his guests

We had to head inside around 7:30 to start openning presents because the hockey game was going to start at 8pm and no one wanted to miss any of the action and we didn't want to be blocking the TV! Max had a lot of cousins and friends there to help him with the gift openning, good thing, too or we would have been there all night! He was having so much fun playing with the kids outside that he didn't really want to open gifts but he hung in there!

Did I mention there was a hockey game last night? With all the black & gold spirit we had happening at our party we can't believe the Pens LOST!!!

It was a great party and we are so thankful to have such a wonderful family and group of friends. Everyone was so generous and I'm so glad we got to be together last night! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us!! We love you!
