On July 4th my sister in law & I ran in the Brentwood Firecracker 5k race. It was a muggy, but cool, rainy morning and there were over 1200 runners. Barb finished in 27 minutes and I came in closer to 33 but I had a great time, ran the whole 3.1 miles and felt great after it was over! I loved it! I think I'm going to run in another one on July 20th that benefits SIDS research.
