Starting things off in the art room where you can paint, screen print, make paper from recycled dryer lint, form objects from clay, and do any number of awesome crafty things. Max is okay with painting but he's not a crafty kid so we didn't last too long in this room. But he made a nice painting that's hanging on our wall now.
The Mister Roger's Neighborhood room is LOTS of fun! This is the streetlight the kids can work that hung in his kitchen, and there's a lifesize trolley to sit on, puppets in Daniel's clock, alphabet objects in The Land of Makebelieve's castle, and you can watch clips from Mister Roger's episodes about how different things are made. The player piano is in this room, too and Max likes that a lot.
Climbing in the treehouse
Even though he's almost 4 he still likes to stop in the Nursery room and play with the trains and birdseed table.
Best room in the place is the Water room where we raced boats and built fountains! We always bring swimming trunks, a teeshirt to wear under the raincoat and watershoes. Oh, and a plastic bag to tie it all up in when playtime is done!
In The Attic room are a bunch of odd and random things, some funny, some a little creepy... the best part of this room is the optical illusion room at the top of the steps. The prize for being able to walk through and not crash on your face from the strange angles is the super fast slide on the other side. This is the 1st year Max was able to navigate it on his own! I just waited at the bottom of the slide to catch him.
Tinkering in the Garage room, we built this race tracks and sent the cars zooming down and checked out how a car's engine works.
Finally got up enough nerve to try the climbing structure all by himself!
